Steve is an actor/writer living in Los Angeles. A graduate of The Second City Conservatory and the IO West Training Program, he has performed in theaters throughout Los Angeles including The Comedy Central Stage, The Second City, IO West, UCB, M-Bar, The Garage Comedy Show, The Comedy Cocktail Show, The Fake Gallery, The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store. He has also appeared at The Chicago Sketch Festival, The San Francisco SketchFest, The Los Angeles Comedy Festival, and The Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival. With his group, Sketch Armstrong, he produced and appeared in the short, Insight Into The Enemy, which was selected for the HBO Aspen Comedy Arts Festival and the Montreal Comedy Festival, where it was also selected for a special "Best Of Fest" screening. It was also included as part of The HBO Comedy Festival Best Shorts screening at the American Cinematheque in Hollywood. With Stephen/Scott, he has performed at The Los Angeles Comedy Festival, The Los Angeles Improv Comedy Festival and The Chicago Sketch Festival. They have also performed at The Laugh Factory, Comedy Sportz, The Fake Gallery, and The Fanatic Salon. Previously, the two produced and starred in the critically-acclaimed Mayberry Live!, an improvised version of the old Andy Griffith Show, which played to sold out houses in an extended run at Second City. Los Angles theater credits include The Only Song I Know, Museum, Ripper! and his critically acclaimed turn as Dromio in The Comedy of Errors. Regional theater credits include Picnic, Pirates of Penzance, Twelfth Night, and the 8-character, 1-man show 21A. He has also appeared in numerous commercials and independent films. |
